Rhetorical Analysis of Twilight

I have to say that it was a pretty interesting article that I have read on Twilight and knowing a lot of stuff about this book that I didn’t know much about it before reading this article. Even though I am not a big fan of fiction books like many people are and I have seen people who are obsessed with these kinds of fiction books. Along with that said I have not read neither of the two books that was mentioned in the article like Harry Potter and the Twilight. What I found interesting in the reading and didn’t know about Twilight was that. Twilight has more female readers than male readers. It wouldn’t be a surprise to me because it just might be of the good story that’s been written by the author or just the romances that goes on with Bella and the Vampires or the wolves. This might be the case to being the success of the book and the movie in my opinion. Another interesting thing that I had found after reading was that Bella’s character was putting into the simplest form as possible. The reason for that was as it was mentioned in the reading was so any female readers who read this book could put themselves on Bella’s shoes or imagine themselves as being Bella as they read the story. What I found not so pleasant in the reading was the comparison of the two different books like Twilight vs. Harry Potter. I believe these two different books shouldn’t have been compared. Because both of these books were a success hit amongst the fiction readers worldwide and was enjoyed too while reading. For example like the Harry Potter was a different book than the Twilight it was mostly about these young teenagers going on a adventure and getting involved with things and getting in trouble as they went on into this adventure so basically this book was kind of written for everyone. Which the Twilight was mostly targeted towards the female audience then the male audience. In fact it was like that with the Twilight series. I had found more female readers talking about it than male readers. I believe Harry Potter and Twilight shouldn’t be compared at all to each other because each book has its own good things and bad things to it. So on that note it would be wrong to compare the books to each other in my opinion.
