Go head and have a wife !!!

At the beginning of the article, the author admits that "she belongs to the wives classification" and theses thoughts about being a wife come to her mind while she was "ironing." Based on what she said," ironing" is what women do, nonetheless she still needs a wife, someone who can do it for her.
Being born and raised in the 1900th when being a wife means taking care of the children, doing the housework and keeping track of everything. When women were out aside by society, Judy Brady, In my opinion must have related to how she sees the women-world at that time period. As she points out "wives" or women were seen more like slaves or personal objects and less like Human. Accordingly, they are the ones who stay home, take care of her husband physical needs and not complaining about wife's duties.
This article, in my opinion, is a rant. By pointing out the way women are being defined by her society, she, as a woman, is asking who would not need a wife is this is the way they are treated-- as slaves, sexual instruments with no rights. If this is what a man want a wife for, she is basically telling that she also wants a wife. Because, who would not need someone to take care of his/her personal needs while he/she is being a lazy. Who would not be happy to have a a mate, a housekeeper, a baby sitter and a servant? I think, she is basically criticizing the society or men in general.
"Why I still want a wife" relates partly to Judy's lifestyle and what she wants to change about it.
