Most advertisements that I found on the internet when searching for a school were mostly false. Looking for the perfect college is a difficult task. And I agree with Mark Rosenberg when he says that people are lazy. I avoided using Google when it came to searching for a college. Instead I went onto a USA College site. This site was much more reliable than Google it gave me every college and their official website. Google ads are false. Whether they are talking about colleges or not. People that create these false ads are just looking for an easy way to make money. When you put out an advertisement you have to pay for it and when these people put people in an advertisement they have to pay. They also have to sign a contract that says that they are willing to have the information about the college on a ad. Many sites have false advertisements that make the colleges look bad and it gives them a bad reputation which is completely unfair because they didn’t do anything. Most of these ads though do have a trademark but they are false. Which could also mislead the person applying for college. Josh Keller says, "Students probably won't enroll in the wrong college by mistake." Yet if the person is being given to the wrong information they might apply for the wrong college.
