Very interesting article! Taibbi admits his support of OWS from the start, but also admits that that the movement has no purpose other than the hope of aimless "change." He rips on the 5-0 right away for trying to control the crowds, but if they didn't, the crowds would get out of control and that wouldn't be very fair for the people who live there. Ending his article with, "Eventually the Occupy movement will need to be specific about how it wants to change the world. But for right now, it just needs to grow," actually upset me. How can someone support the growth of a movement that has no aim or purpose? Anyhow.... I think everyone in the country can agree that we need something to change, but everyone's something is different, and having an enormous, aimless protest in a clogged city is the wrong way to go about it. I just hope we can all forgive the police for doing their job and keeping order in the city.
