I knew before I read this article that it was something about Twilight, and I can not stand Twilight, when I was in high school, my friends were bigger Twilight fans then I was a Harry Potter fan. I honestly like the whole idea of loving someone thats different from you. However the fact that she flip flops from one guy to the other and how eventually she falls in love with one guy but then falls out of love story is really old and outdated. I personally was curious because I was always a Harry Potter fan and I never read the Twilight books, but my friends always talked about it (I believe they were even on some of those forums to) I actually watched the first movie. I think for the way she set it up and the way that she set the plot is good, but the fan reaction is a bit to much for this type of book.
Hate aside the fan reaction is crazy, it can get confusing theres Team Edward and Team Jacob shirts everywhere and you can get even Team Bella shirts. They even show up in shows or reference to the books. Its almost like a disease rather than a fan base. You could argue that when Harry Potter first came out that it truly was like a disease but not to this extreme. The Harry Potter people were less intense, less crazy about it than Twilight fans were. And thats why I HATE Twilight!
